According to the most recent data from the FBI, our local Tri-Cities have an annual average rape rate of 49 per 100,000. The national average is 42.6. And we know that nearly 2/3 of survivors do not report. We can do better.

Comprehensive sexuality education helps change culture. At RISE we work to change rape culture to consent culture. We cultivate understanding and root out fear and hate. We banish myths and misconceptions with facts. And we intentionally work not to retraumatize survivors while we do it.

If you survived rape, you are amazing. We believe you. It was not your fault. You are loved. You are enough just the way you are.
