RISE:

RISE uses curricula that offer inclusive, affirming, developmentally appropriate education for people from kindergarten through older adult. They are appropriate for (and have been used in) many settings, including after-school programs, colleges and universities, homeschool groups, community centers, churches, parent groups, and jails and prisons.

Responsible, inclusive sexuality education offers participants the information and skill-building experiences they need to develop healthy relationships of all kinds throughout their lives.

• RISE: Healthy for Life provides facilitator training as well as workshops for people kindergarten through older adult.

• We offer programs for guardians so they have the information they need to hold important conversations.

• We can offer an entire curriculum (see below) or customize workshops for your organization’s needs.

Stellar Sex Ed

Versions available for middle-school youth, high-school youth and adults.

Stellar Sex Ed, RISE’s original curriculum, engages adult participants in an expansive exploration of our inner and outer space. Free of judgment, Stellar Sex Ed dismantles stigma and invites honest, compassionate curiosity about bodies, identities, and relationships. Welcome to a new age of sexuality education!

Stellar Sex Ed covers:

• Whole people

• Sexual anatomy, arousal, and consent

• Body image, sex, and gender

• Romantic and sexual orientation

• Power dynamics in relationships/Healthy relationships

• Menstruation and masturbation

• STI and pregnancy prevention and testing

Facilitators emphasize the importance of grounding decisions and creating boundaries based on personal needs, comfort, and values as well as respecting others decisions and boundaries.
