People often survive trauma that we are unaware of. Whether you are clergy, a member of a pastoral care team, a teacher, a leader, or simply a compassionate person, it is likely you will encounter survivors daily. During this workshop we will learn how to create empowering, physically and emotionally safe spaces for survivors, particularly those who have survived Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) .
Please join us to learn:
How to offer support and understanding without re-traumatizing survivors.
How trauma can affect the individual, families, friendships, work, and even communities.
