Pelvic Floor 101 This Thursday!!
In this class, we will learn about the muscles and structures that make up the pelvic floor for all genders. Participants will learn what the pelvic floor is, why it’s important, and how to support pelvic floor health.
During the second half of the class participants will move through strength and mobility exercises for the low back and hips. People of all gender identities are welcome.
Goals of this class
Educate about pelvic floor anatomy and why it’s important for overall health.
Help attendees understand that they don’t have to suffer through pelvic symptoms and they can get treatment.
Improve awareness of correct pelvic floor and abdominal muscle function.
Provide a comfortable setting for clients to ask questions about the pelvic floor.

Kate Palmer is a pelvic floor physical therapist with her own practice called Flourish Concierge PT.

Kate is a Johnson City native and went to UT (Go Vols!) before getting her doctorate in physical therapy from UT-Chattanooga. Kate has been a ballet dancer most of her life and enjoys dancing at the Jonesborough Repertory Theatre. She is passionate about supporting women’s health.
