Appalachian shOUT publishes list of resources for youth

Appalachian shOUT compiled a list of resources for youth in the Appalachian Highlands (SW VA and NE TN). These resources are related to or tangential to sexual health and include resources related to substance use, homelessness, LGBTQIA+, mental health, physical and sexual health, and teen parenting.

We are still building and plan to add sections for sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking response services.

This list was developed by a wide community of partners working together to share, and we invite your contribution as well. If there is a category you don’t see or an organization you feel should be represented, please let us know. If your organization should be on this list and is not, get in touch. Just email diamonjn@jmu.edu with all the contact information and a brief description and we’ll keep building!
