The committee’s goals this year, all of which we accomplished, were
Creating a training clearinghouse so people all over the state can access programs that members have to offer.
Creating an online space for the committee with information about inclusion and diversity.
Developing outreach materials in a variety of languages.
Another accomplishment that came out of our work together is a series of monthly Lunch and Learn programs, also available on the Committee’s web page (just scroll down)
In 2021 the Committee is looking at developing online video brochures in a variety of languages as well as addressing the need for safe housing for survivors, particularly LGBTQ survivors whose rights are not guaranteed in Tennessee.
RISE is honored to work with this fantastic group of folx and their organizations to affirm diversity and foster inclusion across Tennessee.
