How does inclusion relate to sexuality education? Let us count the ways!
Responsible, inclusive sexuality education intentionally recognizes and values all students. It is lifelong and involves a holistic approach that shares knowledge and helps students of all ages, orientations, colors, and identities build communication and relationship skills that will help them be healthy for life.
Abstinence-only programs promote only one type of identity and orientation, and traditional sex ed frequently incorporates racial and gender-based bias unintentionally.
