Join Cindi Huss, managing director of RISE: Healthy for Life, for a lunchtime talk to find out why sex and gender seem so much more complicated than they used to.

Participants will learn about sex assigned at birth, biological sex, and gender identity, and how and why they might be different from what we learned in school. They will examine gender labels and how they are used, how what we say can harm—or uplift—others, and how to be compassionate and encourage others to do the same.
