The Healthy Teen Network just published an article about 5 queer sex ed resources for teens—by teens.

Join us for a conversation among young adults as we explore the needs youth have compared to the education and access they get to sexual and reproductive health education, care, and resources. Registration is required.

In this class, we will learn about the muscles and structures that make up the pelvic floor for all genders. Participants will learn what the pelvic floor is, why it’s important, and how to support pelvic floor health.

RISE: Healthy for Life invites you to help support our neighbors--it takes a community. Help us prevent school and work absences, embarrassment, and hardship by donating to provide period products for free in our region.

RISE partners with about 15 organizations to provide period products to their clients, and we provide them at all of our programming and events as well. And people are soooooo excited to get free period products!

In the past 6 month we have given away more than 3,000 period products, and demand is still growing.

Please donate to prevent school/work absences and shame while lightening the burden for people with periods—and their families!

Join RISE’s Kayla Mandrigues for Discover Your Senses, an experiential workshop on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024 from 2-3:30 p.m. in RISE’s classroom. RISE is located at 2700 S. Roan St., Suite 300B, in Johnson City, TN.

This workshop is free and open to adults and teens of all genders.

This Community Member Survey is a comprehensive data collection effort to identify the strengths, challenges, and opportunities to address and improve health in the Appalachian Highland Region. Thank you for helping us identify the most pressing issues the Appalachian Highland Region is facing. The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
