RISE is responsible, inclusive sexuality education for Northeast Tennessee.
It’s “the birds and the bees” for the modern age: empowering youth and adults with respect, compassion, and self-confidence around sensitive topics.
“Making sex, intimacy, and relationships a regular conversation at home is a recommended best-practice for families but for us it did not come naturally. OWL gave our teen and us language and topics to help us get that conversation started. I 100% recommend it!”
While TDOV is a day of celebration, it also reminds us that there is still work to be done. Transgender people continue to face challenges in healthcare, employment, housing, and daily life. As March 31st approaches, take a moment to celebrate, learn, and take action. By increasing visibility and understanding, we can build a future where transgender people are seen, heard, and respected every day of the year.
