“Race Matters! Implicit Bias in a Shifting Culture” Lunch and Learn
RISE is involved with a Statewide Inclusion Task Force organized by the Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence. Member organization will offer Lunch and Learns on an inclusion topic related to their work monthly. RISE piloted this program with a program on gender diversity in June. You can see a similar Lunch and Learn that was offered locally on our website.
This month’s Inclusion Lunch and Learn is brought to you by Sharon Travis @ the Sexual Assault Center, and all are welcome to attend. She will present “Race Matters! Implicit Bias in a Shifting Culture.”
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to define current concepts related to unconscious and implicit bias
Participants will be able to identify how unconscious /bias impacts systems and access to service
Participants will learn about Ally-ship and de-biasing strategies
